Medill School of Journalism
The Medill School of Journalism leads the way in producing a new generation of multimedia journalists and communicators who are well prepared to navigate and create a dynamic media landscape. The curriculum ensures that students are skilled at writing, reporting, editing, and critical thinking. It helps them master a variety of storytelling platforms - for the web, on air, in print, and via digital devices - to connect, engage, and inform.
In addition, with up to three-quarters of their courses in the liberal arts, Medill students are well-rounded individuals knowledgeable in the arts, sciences, and humanities; many go on to graduate programs and a variety of traditional and nontraditional careers in journalism and communications.
