Tours

We welcome the opportunity to show you our beautiful, tree-lined campus on the shores of Lake Michigan. Tours are given daily, and last about one and a half hours. Reservations are required for individual campus visits. For special groups of ten or more people (such as Upward Bound, high school field trips, etc.), please make a reservation by calling 847-491-7271. Special group visits are not accommodated on Saturdays. Special group visits are currently booked through June 20th (graduation).

Tours of residence halls are unavailable while school is in session; however, if you are interested in seeing the interiors of student living areas, please check out our 360º panoramic housing shots.

Tours leave from the Office of Undergraduate Admission, 1801 Hinman Avenue, according to the schedule listed below. We would also encourage you to attend a 45-minute information session or group meeting before the tour if time permits. Schedules for each are listed on this page by meeting type. The Office of Undergraduate Admission is closed on all major national holidays and on selected days listed below.

* The Office of Admission will be closed January 1, 19, and 26.
* On 3/21, 3/24, and 3/28, there will be an additional tour at 12 p.m.
* On 3/22 and 3/29, there will be an additional tour at 11:15 a.m.

April

Weekdays, 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.;
Saturdays, 11:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

May - June 13

Weekdays, 2:00 p.m.
* The Office of Admission will be closed May 26.

June 16 - August

Weekdays, 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m.
* The Office of Admission will be closed July 4.

September

Weekdays, 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
* The Office of Admission will be closed September 1.

October

Weekdays, 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.;
Saturdays, 11:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
* On 10/13, there will be an additional tour at 12 p.m.

November - December

Weekdays, 2:00 p.m.;
Saturdays, 11:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
* The Office of Admission will be closed November 27-29; December 6, 13, 20, 24-25, 27, 31; and January 1.
