Traveling to Northwestern: Train

Amtrak (800-872-7245) trains arrive at Union Station in Chicago. From Union Station, go three blocks north on Canal Street to the Metra station to catch a train (312-836-7000) to Davis Street in Evanston, or go seven blocks east and board a northbound Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) train under State Street. If you are riding from Chicago, you may need to transfer at Howard Street to catch the Evanston train. The CTA train stops at Davis Street, a few blocks southwest from the campus.
