
Facts and figures
SESP has a diverse student body of 330 full-time undergraduate students, of which approximately 34 percent are students of color.
Possible career paths for SESP graduates are as follows:
- HDPS students often enter graduate work in psychology and medicine, and careers in psychological services, corporate personnel, human resources department, and corporate training and consulting.
- LOC majors pursue graduate work in business, education, and engineering, and pursue careers in corporations, consulting firms, schools, non-profits, and other knowledge-intensive areas.
- Social Policy students often continue with graduate work in law, public policy, and sociology, and begin careers in government agencies, education, nonprofit organizations, interest groups, and advocacy organizations.
- Most Secondary Teaching majors plan to teach in public or private schools, and graduates are routinely among the top candidates for teaching positions throughout the United States and abroad. Many pursue graduate degrees in education.
