Information sessions

A visit to our campus is the best way to satisfy your curiosity about Northwestern and to get answers to your questions about living and learning here. These 45-minute sessions are intended to give visitors a broader understanding of what Northwestern has to offer as well as the opportunity to ask questions. Reservations are required for individual campus visits. For groups of ten or more people, please contact the Office of Undergraduate Admission at 847-491-7271 to make reservations. Due to the high number of visitors to campus during the month of April, we will be unable to accommodate special group visits (i.e., Upward Bound, high school field trips, etc.) then.

Information sessions take place at the Office of Undergraduate Admission, 1801 Hinman Avenue. The yearly schedule of information sessions follows, but please keep in mind that the Office of Undergraduate Admission is closed on all major national holidays and on selected days listed below.

Weekdays, 1:15 p.m.;
Saturdays, 11:45 a.m.
* The Office of Admission will be closed January 1, 19, and 26.
* On 3/21, 3/24, and 3/28, an additional information session will be held at 11:15 a.m.
* On 3/22 and 3/29, an additional information session will be held at 10:30 a.m.

April

Weekdays, 9:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.;
Saturdays, 10:30 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.

May - June 13

Weekdays, 1:15 p.m.
* The Office of Admission will be closed May 26.

June 16 - August

Weekdays, 9:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m., and 1:15 p.m.
* The Office of Admission will be closed July 4.

September

Weekdays, 9:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.
* The Office of Admission will be closed September 1.

October

Weekdays, 9:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.;
Saturdays, 10:30 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.
* On 10/13, an additional information session will be held at 11:15 a.m.

November - December

Weekdays, 1:15 p.m.;
Saturdays, 10:30 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.
* The Office of Admission will be closed November 27-29; December 6, 13, 20, 24-25, 27, 31; and January 1.
