Faculty

Medill employs 45 full-time professors, many of whom have won awards for journalistic excellence. Members of the faculty continue to be an influence in their fields, writing, reporting, consulting, speaking at conferences, judging national journalism competitions, and working with organizations devoted to journalistic issues such as ethics, investigative reporting, libel law, and the evolving online media.

Medill has also hosted a number of guest speakers and teachers in the recent past. As part of the Crain Lecture Series, speakers at Northwestern have included Sen. John McCain, Sen. Russ Feingold, Studs Terkel, Roger Wilkins, Donna Shalala, David Broder, Tom Brokaw, Bob Woodward, and Ken Starr.
